Function / Arbitrary Waveform Generator
RIGOL has introduced a next-generation multi-channel waveform-generation platform. It delivers up to 500 MHz bandwidth, 2.5 GSa/s sampling rate, and 16-bit resolution, yet fits 8 independent output channels into a compact chassis. With picosecond-level channel synchronization and clean, safety-isolated outputs, the DG5000 Pro tackles complex, high-precision, multi-channel tests while significantly reducing bench space and capital costs.

High-density Multi-channel Design, Ultra-compact Footprint
The DG5000 Pro fits up to 8 high-performance output channels into a standard chassis. Compared with a traditional stack of separate instruments, it frees as much as two-thirds of your valuable bench and rack space. This high-density design lets one unit replace a whole instrument suite, dramatically simplifying the setup and management of complex test systems.

Picosecond Sync & Nanosecond-level Delay Adjust
Multi-channel value is precise timing. DG5000 Pro keeps inter-channel sync deviation under 500 ps for top consistency and adds ±200 ns adjustable delay. This mix of tight sync and flexible offset lets you craft coherent signal sets, mimic real-world propagation, and build complex timing schemes—ideal for phased-array R&D, multi-channel simulation, and other advanced tasks.

Isolated Channel Design, Combining Purity and Flexibility
In complex systems, signal integrity is vital. The DG5000 Pro uses a grouped-isolation scheme: channels are organized into 4 independent pairs (CH1/2, CH3/4, …). Each pair is fully isolated from the others and from the chassis, so ground-loop noise is eliminated when probing multiple circuits. Signals stay clean and safe, and the shared reference within each pair suits differential outputs, giving unmatched flexibility for mixed-signal tests.

High Sampling Rate, High fidelity
With a sampling rate of up to 2.5 GSa/s and 16-bit vertical resolution, the DG5000 Pro captures and reproduces every nuance of the signal. Whether it's a standard function or a complex arbitrary waveform, it's reproduced with high fidelity, giving you a stable, trusted "gold standard" signal source.

High Fidelity, Ultra Low Jitter
Owing to RIGOL’s proprietary SiFi II high-fidelity signal technology, the DG5000 Pro holds jitter to an astonishing 200 ps. Every waveform edge remains rock-solid and razor-clean, delivering the timing accuracy you need—whether it serves as a clock source for a high-speed system or for any precision-timing test.

High Speed Square Wave is Standard Across the Range
The entire DG5000 Pro range can output square waves up to 170 MHz with rise times as fast as 0.8 ns. Even the base configuration therefore handles high-speed digital signal emulation and testing with ease. Guided by a “entry-level, yet fully loaded” philosophy, every model delivers uncompromising, top-tier performance.

Flexible Multi-pulse Function
Engineered for modern power-semiconductor testing, the DG5000 Pro generates editable pulse trains of 2–30 pulses, enabling quick setup of double-pulse tests (DPT) and similar applications—an ideal tool for analyzing the dynamic behavior of devices like MOSFETs and IGBTs.

Advanced Waveform Sequence Function
Automate tedious, repetitive work. With up to 512-step sequence editing, you can combine waveforms that once required manual switching into a single automated test case. This dramatically boosts test efficiency while ensuring consistency and repeatability in complex workflows.

Multitone Modulation Function
Equipped with a powerful multi-tone generator, it can effortlessly synthesize composite signals containing up to 16 tones, each with independently editable amplitude and phase. This capability makes it an efficient tool for analyzing intermodulation distortion and other nonlinear characteristics of amplifiers, filters, and similar devices.

PRBS and Custom Pattern Output
With its built-in pattern generator, the instrument can output pseudo-random bit sequences (PRBS2–PRBS32) or user-defined patterns at up to 300 Mbaud. This offers a direct, reliable signal source for eye-diagram and BER testing of high-speed serial buses and digital-interface receivers.
